🏠 IN HOUSE RULES
At Aussie IT Services (ABN: 98 367 956 044), we want everyone to feel safe, welcome, and respected — whether you’re here in person or part of our online community.
These IN HOUSE RULES set out our basic expectations for behaviour.
They’re not an exhaustive list, so we also ask everyone to use common sense, kindness, and respect in all situations.
Staff may update or add to these rules at any time to help maintain a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
🤝 Respect Others
Treat everyone with kindness, patience, and respect — both in person and online.
We do not tolerate:
- Harassment or bullying
- Discrimination or exclusion
- Aggressive or rude behaviour
Anyone who cannot behave respectfully may be asked to leave the session or banned from the community.
🧹 Keep It Clean
Help us keep the environment pleasant and tidy for everyone.
Please:
- Keep your belongings neatly stored and out of the way
- Dispose of rubbish and recycling properly
- Return dishes or cups to the kitchen
- Keep drinks sealed and away from computers or electrical equipment
Clean spaces make the experience better for everyone!
🖥️ Use Equipment Responsibly
Our computers, gaming systems, and activity materials (like puzzles, Lego, and board games) are for everyone to enjoy.
Please handle all equipment with care and report any damage or problems to staff immediately.
Rough handling, misuse, or intentional damage is not acceptable and may lead to a break or suspension from activities.
⏰ Follow Time Limits
Some equipment, like the Nintendo Switch/s or gaming PCs, may have time limits to make sure everyone gets a fair turn.
Please:
- Keep an eye on your time
- Finish your activity 5 minutes before your session ends to allow for cleaning and setup for the next participant
Being mindful helps everyone enjoy their sessions smoothly.
🌈 Stay Calm
We all get frustrated sometimes — and that’s okay!
If you feel overwhelmed, you can:
- Take a short break in the Sensory Chill Zone
- Ask staff for support or a quiet space
“Rage quitting,” swearing, or acting aggressively toward others or the games is not appropriate.
We’re here to support you to have fun in a positive way.
📜 Follow the Code of Conduct
All participants must follow the Aussie IT Services Code of Conduct at all times.
It helps us make sure every space — physical or digital — stays safe, respectful, and inclusive.
You can read the full Code of Conduct here
🗣️ Report Issues
If you have any concerns or notice something that doesn’t feel right, please let a staff member know straight away.
We take all reports seriously and handle them respectfully and confidentially.
🎮 Have Fun!
Enjoy your time, make new friends, and try something new!
The goal at Aussie IT Services is to learn, connect, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
